Buyer Information

Livestock Sale

  • Attend the Buyer BBQ - Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Register for your buyer number when you arrive.
  • Prospective buyers will receive a list showing the sale order, animal weights, and owners.
  • Whether you purchase an animal or not, your bidding helps the 4-H’ers.
  • After your purchase you must advise the ring man of custom processing or buy back.
  • For custom processing you pay the total bid price and identify which processing plant.
  • For buy-back you pay the difference from the bid minus the market price of the animal.
  • With a buy-back you do not receive the animal.
  • All purchasing buyers receive a complimentary photo of the purchased animal with the exhibitor.
  • All accounts must be paid at the time of the sale, with personal check, cash, and/or certified funds. Sorry, credit cards not accepted.
  • Persons acting as agents for absentee buyers must file limited power of attorney from the buyer, stating the agent is acting on their behalf and is responsible.
  • Checks should be made out to ADCO Jr. Livestock Sale Committee.
